The long wait for the Air II from Arizer is finally over. The Air was a great seller so we’ve all been excited to see what the Canadian manufacturer would have in store for us next with the Air II.
The overall design is almost identical to its predecessor but with a helpful addition of an OLED screen on the front of the body above the controls. This displays to the user the current battery level and temperature which can be viewed in both °F and °C. The brightness of the display can be adjusted to 3 different settings which is perfect for when you want to go unnoticed. An improved heating chamber now reaches the required temperature even quicker than before.
Moving on from limiting preset temperatures you can now select, to the exact degree, the temperature you want your Air II to vape the herbs at, with a maximum of 428°F (220°C). Two high-quality borosilicate glass aroma tubes are included which are used for inhalation and loading the herbs into the base. Glass is a great mouthpiece material as it provides a cool air path which doesn’t taint any flavors. The tubes can be pre-loaded and sealed using the stem caps when taking your Air II out. The tipped tube is ideal for more casual vaping as it gives added comfort and a more concentrated flavor. If clouds are your thing the standard 100% glass tube will be more suitable. Optionally a stainless steel screen can be added to prevent any material pulling through.
The Air II still uses the same 18650 battery as previously but now packs in an extra 50% capacity, so you can keep on taking hits without having to worry about getting to a charger. The battery is still compatible with 18650 chargers and can also be rapidly charged using the micro USB or wall charger. Unlike most vaporizers that you need to wait around for the Air II can be used whilst charging!
The Air II has a great build quality and having no added gimmicks, is completely maintenance free.
